Ultimately my journey started as a student of Computing Science. After completing my masters I started teaching as a research and teaching assistant in post-secondary education and later on as an instructor for adult engineers in the private industry.
Then I changed my career to become a full time educator of two children of my own. During that time I got involved as a tour guide for high school students in the Computing History department of a technical museum and started teaching adults in continuing education classes.
Private circumstances took me on a move to a different continent, challenged to start a new life and a new career as a high school teacher.
I love challenges and I love learning and exploring new ways. This makes me exited about how learning will evolve with the new opportunities provided through Web 2.0 tools.
My teaching focus recently changed from teaching high school students to teaching college students. Collaboration will be even more important for them as we are entering a new age of a social workplace environment. This motivates me to teach and to use the new web technologies.
